A tree planting workshop for Re-Tree and Buffalo Green Fund Volunteers took place on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at the Torn Space Theatre in Buffalo. Experts in tree planting and tree care gave a workshop on bare root tree planting in advance of the April 27 tree plantings that then took place throughout the streets of Buffalo. 101 trees were planted in the areas of Allentown, Parkside, The Central Terminal, Buffalo Naval and Military Park, Canisius University, Torn Space Theatre, and Pat Sole Park.
