Before you can plant trees with us, we require that volunteers attend a tree planting workshop first. 

There is no cost to attend.

If you wish to plant trees along the streets of your neighborhood.  Please gather a group of three or more volunteers and solicit your neighbors on the street for their interest in getting trees planted in front of their properties on the plot between the sidewalk and the street.  Gather the addresses and any requested *species (final species selection is done by City of Buffalo approval) and submit to Paul D. Maurer at [email protected] or call or text (716) 553-4061.  Total number of trees distributed will be based on number of volunteers you have and approved addresses.  NOTE that bare-root tree planting training is required for your group.  Plan to attend the free tree planting workshop on Saturday, October 24, 2026.
